Hidden Venom explores the tension between perceived innocence and concealed threat — the uncanny signs that exist beneath familiar domestic moments. The work considers the power of the gaze, where perception becomes both a warning and a form of protection.

Through contrasting forms and unsettling visual relationships, the piece reflects on deception, vulnerability, and the moment when what has remained hidden begins to surface. The venom becomes a metaphor for the residue of experience — something unseen yet capable of leaving a lasting mark.

Hidden Venom considers the space between familiarity and unease, where the ordinary and the threatening exist simultaneously.
